Catha Lee Combs

Catha Lee Combs is a certified public accountant (CPA) with more than 30 years of experience in public accounting. She is Managing Director at Wikoff Combs & Co., LLC. The firm provides public accounting services to Hawaii businesses and nonprofit organizations.

Ms. Combs specializes in non-profit accounting services. In addition to audit, accounting and tax consultation, she also designs and helps implement accounting systems and offers training unique to nonprofits. Ms. Combs helps them understand internal control and cost allocation systems, financial statements and federal compliance.

She also provides expert advice on audits of employee benefit plans and to small to medium sized businesses.

The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Fellows Program and Castle Colleagues program rely on Ms. Combs to train non-profit executives.

Wikoff Combs & Co., LLC, serves a host of businesses in Hawaii including more than 80 nonprofit organizations, from start-ups to multi-million dollar agencies.

Born and raised in Honolulu, Ms. Combs holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Hawaii and an undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Santa Clara in California. She began her professional career in 1981 with the international public accounting firm Ernst & Young.

Ms. Combs is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Hawaii Association of Public Accountants. She is a member and past director of the Hawaii Society of Certified Public Accountants (HSCPA), and served as co-chair of its nonprofit organizations committee.

Ms. Combs is a dedicated community servant. She serves on the board of directors of HUGS (“Help Understanding Group Support”), a non-profit providing support to families with children with life-threatening illness, and the Learning Disabilities Association of Hawaii. She is a past director of the Hawaii Senior Services Inc. and served on the State Nutrition Advisory Committee, which focuses on the nutritional needs of children with special health needs.
